Celvin G. "C.G." Walwyn I am qualified for, and will accept, any of the following positions: Director or Deputy Director of any State or Territorial Homeland Security Agency; Chief, or Deputy Chief of Police; Territorial Marshall; Director of Law Enforcement functions of DPNR, or Chief or Assistant Chief Investigator of any government agency. I presently serve as a Detective with the rank of Deputy First Class with the Orange County Sheriff's Office in Orlando, Florida. I have over 25 years experience in law enforcement with emphasis on street patrol, special investigations (federal agency assignments), instruction, training, and administration. Simultaneous experience as adjunct instructor in state-mandated criminal justice continuing education at Harris County Sheriff Department in Houston, Texas. While a Texas Law Enforcement Officer, I was involved in some high profile investigations with the FBI, ATF, DEA, and CBP (Formerly INS). I am a very good investigator and was sought out by these agencies for my skills. I also received letters of commendations from these agencies for outstanding investigations. I can bring those skills to any agency that chooses to make me a part of their team. I took this knowledge and wrote a training manual for Texas law enforcement that was sold in Texas police book store in the 1990's-2000's. In 2000, I was the general election Sheriff Candidate in my county in the State of Texas. In the private sector, I was the Surveillance Director for Equifax Services in Houston, Texas with emphasis on special financial and background investigations. We were a cutting edge fraud investigations unit and I was in charge of the operations. My unit created over $1,000,000.00 in new company revenues. I left the company to enter law enforcement. The ability to operate with minimum supervision afforded me the chance to own and operate my own private investigation company, a security guard and private investigations academy, and four defensive driving and state-mandated Alcohol and Drug Awareness schools, in Houston, Stafford, Prairie view, and Dallas, Texas, before moving to Florida in 2003. I believe in community service and serve as a license minister of the gospel in my community. I have been preaching since 1999. As a young man in the United Stated Virgin Islands, I was a volunteer Emergency Medical Technician and volunteer Civil Defense Lieutenant for the island of St. Croix. I was also a Nuclear Radiological Monitor and Instructor of the United States Virgin Islands Office of Emergency Management Services. All I ask is to be given a chance to continue to serve my community.
